Draft Profile: Bio
Austin Siereveld from Lakota East High School was rated a 3-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 3-star grade by 247 Sports. Following high school, Siereveld opted to join Ohio State. In 2024 as a freshman Siereveld saw action in just 3 games and played a total of 158 snaps for the Buckeyes. He allowed no QB hurries, no QB hits, and one sack while playing most of his snaps at left guard.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Big athlete with good bulk and a filled-out frame. Stays balanced and doesn't overextend in pass protection. Stays disciplined with good bend and leverage.
- Siereveld does a nice job working with teammates to build the pocket, anchoring against bull rushers and displaying good awareness against stunts and twists.
- Willing to attack and punches multiple times to finish the play. Quick to pick up edge blitz and shows no panic, easily adjusting angles and resetting his feet. Can recover and reset his anchor. Rarely late off the snap.
- Fires out of his stance with a good pad level, consistently winning at the point of attack.
- He’ll consistently finish blocks, dropping on defenders when Siereveld has them on the ground. Siereveld shows good awareness reacting to twists and stunts as a pass protector, and he has the strength to anchor against bigger defensive linemen.
- Has the agility, technique, and size to contribute early in his professional career. Quick, active hands to latch on to defenders.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- His hands aren’t violent enough to stand pass rushers up early in the down, and Siereveld generally plays with poor balance.
- Clearly more comfortable moving forward than sliding back as a protector.
- Often gets too high in his sets, sacrificing some of his power, and he doesn’t show great coordination between his upper and lower body when sliding back in pass protection.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
