Draft Profile: Bio
Tre'Quon Fegans was a unanimous four-star prospect and Under Armour All-American at Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama, where he won three straight Class 7A state titles. He also played running back and returned punts in high school and comes from a family with four brothers in the sport. He signed with Alabama over Miami, redshirted in 2022 and then began a winding college path that included stops at USC in 2023, where he made two starts, and UCF in 2024.

After spring practice at UCF in 2025, Fegans entered the portal and reunited with Jacksonville State head coach Charles Kelly, who had coached him at Alabama. He played in 12 games for the Gamecocks in 2025, breaking up nine passes and intercepting another.

Now in his fifth college season, Fegans has been in the starting lineup all five weeks for a 3-2 Jacksonville State team, including a six-tackle effort in the 23-13 win over Middle Tennessee.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Long 6-foot-1 corner with the size teams want on the outside
  • Former blue-chip recruit with experience at Alabama, USC and UCF
  • Zone coverage is the better half of his game, keeping plays in front of him
  • Ball skills showed in 2025, with nine pass breakups, three against Kennesaw State
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Run support is the weakest part of his game; slow to shed blocks on the edge
  • Gives up yards after the catch, which made up more than half the yardage against him in 2025
  • Coverage has slipped in 2026, allowing 11 catches on 14 targets in his last two games
  • Has bounced between four programs without sticking at the Power Four level
  • Tackling slipped this fall, with three misses through five games
Scouting Report: Summary
Fegans arrived at Alabama as one of the most decorated cornerbacks in the country, a three-time state champion and Under Armour All-American, and his journey since has taken him through USC and UCF before landing at Jacksonville State. Reuniting with Charles Kelly has helped. He has the length, size and press-man pedigree NFL teams look for, and he showed his ball skills in 2025 with nine pass breakups and an interception, including a three-breakup game against Kennesaw State.

However, his play has not matched his pedigree. He has been inconsistent in coverage this fall, allowing 11 catches on 14 targets over his last two games, and he gave up a long touchdown at UTEP last season. He is also a liability against the run, slow to disengage from blocks and inconsistent in his angles. The four stops also raise questions that NFL teams will want answered.

Overall, Fegans is a talented but inconsistent corner who still has the physical tools that made him a blue-chip recruit. He projects as a seventh-round corner today, and a strong close to 2026 is his best chance to change that.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
