Brice Pollock played receiver and cornerback at Shiloh High School in Snellville, Georgia, making 61 tackles, two interceptions and 11 pass breakups as a senior, and he ran the first leg on a state-title 4x100 relay team. 247Sports rated him a four-star recruit. His father, Brandon, played at Duke and had five career interceptions.Pollock played 11 games with three starts as a freshman at Mississippi State in 2023 and started all 12 games in 2024, making 48 tackles, nine pass breakups and an interception at Georgia. He transferred to Texas Tech for 2025 and started all 14 games, intercepting five passes to share the Big 12 lead without allowing a touchdown on 69 targets. He was a unanimous first-team All-Big 12 pick and the Big 12 defensive player of the week after two interceptions against Oregon State, and he played in the Big 12 title game win over BYU and the Orange Bowl loss to Oregon. He was also an Academic All-American.
Pollock announced after the Orange Bowl that he would run it back for one more season. He intercepted two passes in the 29-7 win at Colorado, earning Big 12 defensive player of the week again, and he has two interceptions and five pass breakups in eight games for a 7-1 team.
