A five-star out of IMG Academy, Wilson signed with Georgia in 2023 and played a rotational edge for two seasons before transferring to Missouri, where he broke out in 2025 with nine sacks and second-team All-SEC honors from the JACK spot.He entered the portal again and landed at Miami for 2026, chosen over LSU and Texas Tech to replace departed edge production. The start has been quiet, no pressure to show through early games against Stanford and Florida A&M before his first sack, a tackle for loss and a hand in a safety against Wake Forest.
Miami bet that the explosive first step that made him a five-star would finally turn flashes into steady weekly production in his third program, and Week 5 at Clemson was the first big return on that bet. Wilson recorded 2.5 sacks in his best game as a Hurricane, giving him 3.5 sacks and three passes defended on the season, while working under Hall of Famer Jason Taylor on the Miami staff.

Scouting Report: Summary
Wilson is an explosive speed rusher whose get-off is rare for the position, bending the corner and flattening to the quarterback, and he broke out for nine sacks at Missouri before transferring to Miami. However, his run defense lags the rush, he gets washed when tackles lock hands into his frame, and one sack through his first four games at Miami said the flashes had not yet become steady production.Then came Clemson. Wilson had 2.5 sacks and lived in the backfield, but the bigger takeaway was how he won: more power through contact, rushes strung together with a plan, and the get-off as a weapon rather than the whole arsenal. It was the most complete game of his career and the first real evidence that the rest of his game is catching up to the burst.
Overall, Wilson has to become more than a straight-line speed rusher, but the twitch, bend and violent hands are traits worth betting on at the edge. He projects as a second-round sub-package starter who wins on passing downs now, with the ceiling of a three-down starter as the run defense develops and the floor of a designated rusher.
