Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year in 2025, Gregory signed with South Carolina as a four-star recruit from Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia, where he piled up 18 tackles for loss and seven sacks as a senior. He redshirted with the Gamecocks in 2024 and transferred to Oklahoma State the following offseason.In his lone year in Stillwater, Gregory played all 12 games and totaled 27 tackles, a team-leading four sacks and 12 tackles for loss, the most by any FBS freshman, while adding a forced fumble, a batted pass and 32 quarterback pressures. Three of his sacks came in the season opener against Tennessee-Martin, and he forced a fumble and recorded five run stops at Arizona.
Gregory also earned third-team All-Big 12 recognition for the season. He entered the transfer portal afterward and signed with Kansas State in January 2026, rated the highest-graded transfer the Wildcats landed in that cycle.

Gregory is a developmental edge with rare get-off, a redshirt freshman whose pass rush leads a profile built on first-step speed and a quick corner. He opened the year with three sacks against UT Martin in a five-pressure game, stoned Arizona for five run stops while forcing a fumble, and flashed the bend that makes him intriguing. The athletic trait is real, and at this stage of his career it is the entire reason to keep watching.The tape is raw and uneven. His real tackling problem, the worst in this group, he missed nine tackles on a part-time role, and his soft force against the run with an anchor that needs work. The production came in flashes with quiet stretches in between, and he is early enough in his development that his draft-eligibility timing is worth confirming. This is a projection on traits rather than a finished body of work.
The bet is on the burst and the flashes, a high-ceiling project who needs time, strength, and major refinement before the tools translate. He has to clean up the tackling and add an anchor to be more than an occasional disruptor, but the get-off is special. He grades as a developmental edge worth a late swing, with the upside well ahead of the current tape and a new program ahead of him.
