Draft Profile: Bio
Terrell Anderson was a four-star receiver at Grimsley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. He caught 64 passes for 1,254 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior, with three kick-return touchdowns, and had 64 catches for 1,114 yards and 14 scores as a senior, when Grimsley reached the state final.Anderson caught 14 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown at NC State in 2024. He made five starts the following year and caught 39 passes for five touchdowns, leading the team in receiving yards, and he had six catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns against Duke.
USC landed Anderson in January 2026 as one of the top-rated transfers in the country. He missed most of fall camp with an injury the school did not disclose, and he caught two passes for 50 yards against Oregon in September. He had season-ending surgery in October after playing in three games.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Caught six passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns against Duke
- Led NC State in receiving yards in 2025
- Good speed on the outside, which helps him stretch defenses
- Big-play threat who averaged about 16 yards a catch in 2025
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Had season-ending surgery in October after only three games
- Sat out most of 2026 fall camp with an unnamed injury
- Only two catches for USC before his injury
- Dropped four passes during his breakout 2025 season at NC State
- One season as a regular contributor so far
Scouting Report: Summary
Anderson is a productive, explosive receiver who led NC State in receiving yards in 2025. He has good speed and a knack for big plays, as his 166 yards and two touchdowns against Duke showed. However, his first season at USC was a lost one, with an injury in camp and season-ending surgery after three games. He has only one productive college season and dropped four passes in it.
Overall, Anderson has starting-level tools but little film and a medical question. He projects as a priority free agent and would benefit from returning in 2027.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
