Scouting Report: Strengths
- Joyner consistently falls forward, and Joyner will also bounce off of or shake loose from a couple of tackles to turn minimal gains into big runs.
- Does not possess top breakaway speed, though he's rarely caught from behind.
- He has the athleticism, quick feet and functional strength to set the edge and open running lanes.
- Demonstrated the ability to track the ball over his shoulder. Good flexibility and balance to adjust to the poorly thrown pass. Good vision and patience for screens.
- A compact runner, he has a rare blend of balance, agility and instincts.
- Doesn't possess elite breakaway speed, but is fast enough to gain yardage in chunks when he finds a seam.
- He keeps his pads low and consistently falls forward. Unlike most backs his size, he has the lateral movement and stop-start ability to make defenders whiff. Joyner has breakaway speed in the open field.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Joyner doesn’t have the ability as a run blocker or the violent run-after-catch ability.
- He’s good in space, but Joyner doesn’t show much nuance as a route runner; he’s not necessarily a threat when he’s flexed out.
- His hands are good, but he doesn’t show much feel as a route runner and might not be a guy you flex out wide.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
