Draft Profile: Bio
Elijah Pritchett arrived in college with five-star billing, rated by Rivals as the top offensive tackle in the 2022 class out of Carver High School in Columbus, Georgia. He played in the All-American Bowl and was a first-team all-state pick. After a redshirt year and a season as a backup at Alabama, he made 12 starts in 2024, 11 at right tackle, but gave up six sacks. He transferred to Nebraska for 2025 and started nine games at left tackle, a season that included an ejection for targeting at Minnesota on 17 October and an ankle injury against USC.
In his fifth and last college season, Pritchett has started every game at left tackle in 2026 and has not given up a sack. He played 87 snaps against Indiana and did not give up a pressure in 77 snaps against Washington.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- No sacks allowed in eight starts at left tackle this season
- Clean 77-snap game against Washington showed how much his pass sets have improved
- Good athlete for his size, with the feet to mirror speed off the edge
- Has started at left and right tackle across two programs
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Run blocking lags behind, with too few finished blocks at the point of attack
- Indiana pressured him three times in an 87-snap game
- Discipline was a problem in 2025, with six penalties and a targeting ejection
- Gave up six sacks in 2024, so his consistency has come late
- Ankle injury at the end of 2025 adds an item to the medical file
Scouting Report: Summary
Pritchett has finally started to look like the tackle his recruiting ranking promised. His feet and length let him mirror speed off the edge, his sets are calmer than they were at Alabama, and he has not allowed a sack at left tackle this season, including a clean afternoon against Washington. However, the rest of his record is uneven. His run blocking still lacks finish, Indiana found ways to pressure him, and his 2025 season included six penalties, a targeting ejection and an ankle injury. Six sacks allowed in 2024 are also part of his file.
Overall, Pritchett's athletic tools and recent improvement give him a real shot to stick. He projects as a priority free agent swing tackle whose stock depends on how teams read the improvement in his final season.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
