Draft Profile: Bio
Braden Miller was a three-star offensive lineman from Eaglecrest High School in Aurora, Colorado, in the 2022 class. Michigan State was his first stop; he sat out 2022 as a redshirt and appeared in three games in 2023 before looking for a bigger role elsewhere.

Miller moved to California for the 2024 season and played in six games as a reserve. In 2025 he appeared in 13 games and made seven starts for the Golden Bears, six on the left side and one on the right, although most of his snaps came on the right side. He gave up two sacks and 17 pressures that year across about 500 snaps.

Duke added Miller on 9 January 2026, and he has started at right tackle in each game of his last college season. Miller has a clean sack record through 456 snaps and had his best day against William & Mary, when he allowed only one hurry. Penalties have been a problem, with three flags in the opener against Tulane and two at Illinois.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Zero sacks allowed in 456 snaps at right tackle
  • Allowed only one hurry in a strong outing against William & Mary
  • Experience at both tackle spots across stints at Cal and Duke
  • Smooth mover for a tackle whose forty time rates as good
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Committed six penalties this season, including three against Tulane in the opener
  • Two more flags at Illinois showed recurring problems with his hand placement
  • Gave up four pressures in the game against North Carolina in October
  • Played for three programs and started only one full season
  • Length may push him inside to guard at the next level
Scouting Report: Summary
Miller is a well-travelled tackle who has finally found a full-time role in his last college season. He is nimble for a tackle, has held down right tackle all season for Duke without giving up a sack, with a clean outing against William & Mary among his best.

However, his penalty count is a real concern, with six flags this year and five of them in the first two games against Tulane and Illinois. His full-time starting experience amounts to one season, and his length may push him inside to guard.

Overall, Miller is a mobile, experienced lineman with enough versatility to earn a camp invite. He projects as a priority free agent whose penalties must come down for him to stick.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
