Draft Profile: Bio
Bo Mascoe played receiver and defensive back at Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Florida, intercepting seven passes as a junior and returning two for touchdowns. He was a Class 8A first-team all-state pick, ran the 100 meters and the 4x100 relay, and was rated a three-star prospect.

He began at Rutgers, playing in the 2023 Pinstripe Bowl, then made four starts in 2024 with an interception and five pass breakups. He started all 12 games in 2025, forcing three turnovers and earning honorable mention All-Big Ten.

Mascoe transferred to Texas in January 2026 and has started at outside cornerback. Ohio State targeted him four times without a completion in the 24-23 win on 12 September, and he broke up two passes against Florida. Quarterbacks have completed nine of 23 passes thrown his way this season, with the only touchdown coming at Tennessee.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Tight coverage, allowing nine catches on 23 targets this season
  • Ohio State threw at him four times without a completion
  • Ball skills from his receiver background, with seven interceptions as a high school junior
  • Long, fast build that suits a corner playing on the boundary
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Tackling has been loose, with 11 missed tackles in 2024 and four this season
  • Gave up a touchdown and drew two penalties at Tennessee
  • Has not intercepted a pass in eight games this season
  • Allowed four touchdown catches in coverage at Rutgers in 2025
  • Texas and other sources disagree on his class, so his draft year needs confirming
Scouting Report: Summary
Mascoe has settled in as a reliable outside corner for Texas. He has the size and speed for the boundary, battles receivers for the ball and has kept them quiet, with Ohio State going 0-for-4 against him. Opponents have connected on just nine of 23 throws his way.

However, his tackling has been a problem for two seasons, he has yet to pick off a pass in 2026, and the Tennessee game, with a touchdown and two penalties, showed he can be beaten. He allowed four touchdowns at Rutgers in 2025.

Overall, Mascoe has the coverage skills and experience to compete for a roster spot. He projects as a priority free agent corner who must tighten up his tackling to stick.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
