After appearing in just three games across his first two seasons, Lauck took over as Iowa's starting left tackle in 2025 and held the job all year. The wait paid off with one of the better offensive-line seasons in the country.An Indianapolis native out of Roncalli, he was a U.S. Army All-American who earned first-team all-state honors as a senior and signed with the Hawkeyes as a multi-year project on Kirk Ferentz's line.
Lauck started all thirteen games at left tackle in 2025, allowing just six pressures across more than 300 pass-blocking snaps and drawing only three penalties while anchoring an Iowa front that won the Joe Moore Award as the nation's best offensive line. He earned third-team All-Big Ten recognition, settling in as a steady, technically sound blindside protector with the frame and footwork to develop further. Coaches praised his old-soul demeanor and finishing edge as he settled in on the blindside for a Joe Moore Award-winning line.
