Coached by his father at Jefferson High in Georgia, Brown was named the nation's top all-around high school athlete by MaxPreps for his work across football, wrestling and track, and re-rated as a five-star and consensus top-30 recruit who picked Clemson over Georgia and Ohio State.He enrolled early in January 2024, worked into the linebacker rotation as a true freshman, and drew national freshman honors before the full breakout came as a sophomore.
In 2025 Brown posted 62 tackles, 41 run stops and five sacks, adding five pass breakups, an interception and a forced fumble across thirteen games. He turned in a sack-and-interception afternoon against Furman and chipped in two breakups against South Carolina, working as a centerpiece of the Clemson defense. He appeared in all thirteen games and added eight quarterback hurries while lining up at multiple linebacker spots.

However, coverage is the clear weakness; he gives up too much in space, his eyes get caught in the backfield against play-action, and his pass-rush production is modest despite the speed.Overall, Brown's zone-coverage reliability is the swing factor, but the trigger, the speed and the sideline-to-sideline run defense are first-round traits. He projects as a first-round-caliber starter, with the ceiling of a complete every-down Mike if the coverage tightens and the floor of a two-down thumper with special-teams value.
