Draft Profile: Bio
Braydon Bennett led South Carolina's Class AAA in rushing as a junior at Greenville's Southside High School, topping 2,000 yards, and signed with Coastal Carolina as a three-star athlete in the 2020 class.Across five seasons with the Chanticleers, Bennett ran 321 times for 1,954 yards and 24 touchdowns, a 6.1-yard average. His 2021 season featured 648 rushing yards, seven touchdowns and 24 receptions for 293 yards, and in 2024 he led Coastal Carolina with 781 rushing yards and 11 scores, posting 100-yard games against Georgia Southern and Louisiana.
Bennett transferred to Virginia Tech in January 2025 but saw limited duty as a graduate, appearing in four games with four carries for eight yards, all against Wofford, where he scored a touchdown and converted two first downs, plus a reception against Old Dominion. After 46 career games, he entered the portal again in December 2025 and committed to Eastern Michigan for 2026, his final year of eligibility.
