Quincy Rhodes Jr. made 84 tackles, 11.5 sacks and 34 quarterback hurries as a senior at North Little Rock High School and played in the 2022 U.S. Army Bowl. A four-star recruit by 247Sports and the No. 2 player in Arkansas, he stayed home with the Razorbacks over Oklahoma and Kansas State.Rhodes played mainly on special teams as a freshman in 2023 and made his first start in the Liberty Bowl win over Texas Tech in 2024. He broke out in 2025, starting 11 of 12 games and leading Arkansas with 15.5 tackles for loss, the most by a Razorback defender since 2015, along with 35 pressures. He had 4.5 tackles for loss against Mississippi State and four at Memphis, and he became the first Arkansas player since 2021 with three multi-sack games in a season. He was a second-team All-SEC pick by the AP and the coaches and a Bednarik Award semifinalist, despite a 2-10 season.
Rhodes said no amount of money would have moved him to the transfer portal, and he returned for his senior season under new head coach Ryan Silverfield. He got to the quarterback against Georgia and Tennessee, returned a fumble 58 yards against Tennessee and had 1.5 tackles for loss in the win at Vanderbilt. Arkansas is 3-5. Silverfield has said Rhodes knows he has more upside and that he is as hard on Rhodes as on any player on the roster.

Rhodes is a long, productive edge who broke out in 2025 with the most tackles for loss by an Arkansas defender in a decade. He led the team with 15.5 tackles for loss and 35 pressures, had three multi-sack games and earned second-team All-SEC honors from the AP and the coaches despite a 2-10 season. He uses his length and a long-arm to stack blockers and has a feel for getting into the backfield on run plays. He was also a Bednarik Award semifinalist.His 2026 season has been steadier than spectacular. He got to the quarterback against Georgia and Tennessee, returned a fumble 58 yards against Tennessee and had 1.5 tackles for loss in the win at Vanderbilt, but his pressure total has fallen to 13 in eight games. Ryan Silverfield has said Rhodes knows he has more upside, and the new staff has kept him in a starting role for a 3-5 team. He has also made 11 run stops this season.
However, he does not win with burst. His timed speed is average, so he relies on length and effort more than pure speed around the corner, and his frame is still filling out, so he can give ground against down blocks. He missed eight tackles in 2025 and four more this season, and he was flagged four times in 2025. Teams will want to see the 2025 version of his rush return over the final month. Missouri held him to four tackles and a hurry on 31 October.
Overall, Rhodes is a long, experienced edge with a strong 2025 resume and a clear path to a rotational NFL role. He projects as a third-round edge defender with a starting base end's ceiling and the floor of a rotational rusher. His four years with the Razorbacks and his loyalty through a coaching change also speak to his character, as Silverfield's comments show.
