Draft Profile: Bio
Emmanuel Oyebadejo grew up in Manchester, England, playing soccer before a growth spurt moved him to basketball, where he represented England at the under-16 and under-18 levels. After Loreto College he enrolled at the University of Exeter to study medicine, and coaches recruited him onto the Exeter Demons football team in 2023 after spotting him on the sideline. He helped the Demons win the BUCS National Trophy and won a Britbowl title with the Manchester Titans. His tape drew interest from American programs, and he signed with Jacksonville State in 2024 but missed his first season with an injury in preseason camp. He started all 14 games in 2025, recording 41 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, five pass breakups and two forced fumbles to earn first-team All-Conference USA honors.
Oyebadejo transferred to Florida in January and has given the Gators an inside-outside presence up front. He had 2.5 sacks in the 44-39 win at Auburn, his first SEC game, and added a sack and a forced fumble at Missouri.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Huge 6-foot-6, 299-pound frame with long arms that keep blockers off his chest
- Elite freak like speed for his size; closes on quarterbacks quickly once he clears the edge
- Rushing the passer is where he wins most, converting speed to power off the edge
- Lines up wide, over the tackle and in the B-gap, giving coordinators flexibility
- Erupted for 2.5 sacks at Auburn in his first SEC game
- Gets his hands into passing lanes; batted four passes at the line against FIU in 2025
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Raw technician who only started playing football in 2023; counters and hand use need work
- Tall pad level lets shorter, stockier SEC linemen get under him in the run game
- Tackling is inconsistent, with missed wrap-ups against both Ole Miss and Missouri this fall
- Rotational role so far, held to two tackles in the win over Ole Miss
Scouting Report: Summary
Few prospects in this class have a story like Oyebadejo's. A former England youth basketball player and medical student, he did not play organized football until 2023, yet three years later he is producing against SEC offensive lines. The physical tools are off the scale: he is 6-foot-6 and nearly 300 pounds, with long arms and elite speed, and he can line up anywhere from wide on the edge to the B-gap. He is at his most effective rushing the passer, where his reach keeps tackles from landing their punch, and his 2.5-sack game at Auburn in his SEC debut showed how quickly he is learning. He also finds ways to affect the quarterback when he does not get home, batting balls at the line. However, the polish is not there yet. His hands lack a plan once the first move is stopped, he plays too tall at times and gets moved off the ball by shorter linemen in the run game, and his tackling is inconsistent. He has also played in a rotation at Florida, and he was quiet against Ole Miss, so teams will want a bigger sample against good competition. The learning curve is steep, but so far it is moving in the right direction.
Overall, there are not many 299-pound athletes with his length and movement, and three years into the sport he is still climbing. Oyebadejo projects as a third-round defensive lineman who can rotate as a big end and inside rusher early, with the upside to become a starter as his technique catches up to his tools.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
