Draft Profile: Bio
Collin Sadler was an Under Armour All-American and a second-team MaxPreps All-American at Greenville Senior High School in South Carolina, and ESPN ranked him No. 111 nationally. His grandfather, John Schroeder, was an All-American receiver at North Carolina and played in the CFL.After a 2022 redshirt year, Sadler made five starts split between left tackle and left guard in 2023. His 2024 season ended after two games with surgery. In 2025 he made nine starts, seven at left guard and two at left tackle, before he was carted off against SMU with a leg injury. He then needed a shoulder operation before the 2026 season.
Now a fifth-year graduate student, Sadler has started at right tackle since missing the opener at LSU. He played well against Charleston Southern and Cal, but Miami beat him for three sacks and 10 pressures, and Florida State got to him for two more sacks. Offensive line coach Matt Luke has called him very athletic.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Experienced lineman who has started at tackle and guard
- Allowed only three pressures in a strong game against Charleston Southern
- Gave up just two pressures in the road game at Cal
- Former top recruit who has been praised for his athleticism
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Miami beat him for three sacks and 10 pressures
- Florida State recorded two sacks against him in his latest game
- Has allowed five sacks and 23 pressures this season
- Season-ending surgery in 2024 and a shoulder operation in 2026
- Carted off against SMU with a leg injury in 2025
Scouting Report: Summary
Sadler is an experienced, athletic lineman who has started at three positions for Clemson. He moves well and has had good games this season, including against Charleston Southern and Cal.However, better fronts have exposed him in protection, with Miami beating him for three sacks and Florida State for two. He has also had three significant injuries since 2024, including surgery this spring.
Overall, Sadler is a versatile, experienced lineman with too many medical and protection concerns. He projects as a priority free agent who may fit best inside at guard.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
