Draft Profile: Bio
A three-star out of Darien, Connecticut, Alliegro took a post-graduate year at Avon Old Farms before signing with Wisconsin, an older prospect who packed his production into three college seasons. He grew into a downhill blitzer and tackler, finishing his Badgers career with 124 tackles, fourteen tackles for loss and eight sacks.

In 2025 Alliegro posted four sacks, twenty run stops and 45 tackles across ten games, generating pressure off the second level and even playing through a broken arm to finish a game. He attacked downhill and got into the backfield consistently, earning honorable-mention all-conference recognition before transferring to Ohio State as a productive, experienced veteran. The eight tackles for loss and four sacks in ten games made him a productive blitzer, and the long, 245-pound frame holds up rushing and against the run. He brought toughness, playing through a broken arm, and a deep bank of snaps to his next stop in Columbus.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Blitz value stands out, with a strong pass rush from depth
  • Sudden closing speed for the position to chase the ball
  • Stoned Iowa for four stops and eleven tackles in one game
  • Sacked Miami of Ohio while adding pressure as a designed blitzer
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Poor in coverage, a clear liability in space
  • Missed eleven tackles, a finish issue to clean up
  • Ordinary against the run for an every-down role
  • Broke his arm during the year, a durability note
  • Relies on speed and blitz more than complete linebacker play
Scouting Report: Summary
Alliegro is a fast, blitz-oriented linebacker whose pass rush from depth is the standout trait, a downhill closer who stoned Iowa for four stops and eleven tackles and sacked Miami of Ohio as a designed blitzer. The rare timed speed shows up closing on the ball, and he was productive enough to earn honorable-mention All-Big Ten. The blitz value and the speed are the calling cards of the profile.

The complete-linebacker traits lag. His clear coverage liability in space, he missed eleven tackles, and his run defense is ordinary for an every-down role. He broke his arm during the year, a durability note, and he wins with speed and blitz more than well-rounded linebacker play. He is a sub-package and special-teams type whose coverage and finishing have to improve for a larger role.

He slots as a blitzing, run-and-chase linebacker and special-teams contributor whose value is in his speed and pressure rather than coverage, a sub-package piece for now. The poor coverage and the missed tackles cap the grade, but the blitz production and speed are real. He grades as a Day 3 linebacker on traits and special teams, now headed to a bigger program to prove the coverage can improve enough to keep him on the field on passing downs.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
