Draft Profile: Bio
Brian Robinson was born in Dallas and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, where he spent two seasons as the starting quarterback at Austintown Fitch. After moving to Westerville North for 2023, he piled up 58 tackles, six sacks and five defensive touchdowns in seven games. Every major service gave him four stars, he received an invitation to the Under Armour all-star game, and ESPN slotted him 14th among edge rushers nationally.Robinson chose Kentucky over Michigan and Penn State and spent offseasons training with Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward. He sat out most of 2024 as a redshirt, appearing only against Ohio and Murray State, then did not get into a game at all in 2025.
New coach Will Stein switched Kentucky to a four-man front this year, and Robinson is listed at defensive end. The only production on record for him is one tackle, a sack, in the 45-21 win over South Alabama on 26 September.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Rare closing speed off the edge, with a forty in the top tier
- Recorded a sack in the 45-21 win over South Alabama
- Trained alongside Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward during offseasons
- Former high school quarterback who reads offensive concepts quickly
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- One recorded tackle across three seasons at Kentucky
- Never got on the field during the 2025 season
- Slender build that would need significant added weight for the NFL
- Yet to make a start anywhere in college
- Scouts would be projecting almost entirely from his high school tape
Scouting Report: Summary
Robinson is a fast, athletic edge prospect who ranked among the top recruits in Ohio. He has rare closing speed, which he flashed with a sack against South Alabama this fall. However, he has one recorded tackle in three seasons and did not play at all in 2025. His frame is slight for a defensive end, and there is almost nothing on college tape.
Overall, Robinson is a raw athlete with no college resume yet. He projects as a priority free agent in theory, but a return to Kentucky looks far more likely.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
