Draft Profile: Bio
Kavion Henderson recorded seven sacks among 45 tackles in his final year at Leeds High School in Alabama, and he also lined up at H-back. ESPN ranked him No. 129 nationally as a four-star prospect, and he signed with Arkansas.

Henderson redshirted at Arkansas in 2024 after one appearance. He got into two games in 2025 and made two tackles, then left for Troy, where he found a much larger role on the defensive line.

Henderson has appeared in every Troy game this season, mostly as an interior rusher. He has 13 pressures, including five against Alabama State, and he intercepted a pass against Southern Miss in October. Against Alabama State he made two tackles and created five pressures in a single afternoon. He is still looking for his first sack, and his weight is low for an inside player.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Exceptional speed for a lineman who plays on the interior
  • Generated five pressures against Alabama State in September
  • Intercepted a throw when Troy faced Southern Miss in October
  • Ten hurries and three quarterback hits through eight games
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Has not finished a sack despite 13 pressures this season
  • Weighs far less than most NFL defensive tackles
  • Missed three tackles, two of them against Alabama State
  • Got into only three games across two seasons at Arkansas
  • Missouri kept him without a tackle in their September meeting
Scouting Report: Summary
Henderson is a quick, athletic lineman who has become a disruptive presence at Troy. He has elite speed for the position and has created 13 pressures, including five against Alabama State.

However, he has not converted any of them into a sack, and he is far lighter than most interior linemen. He hardly played at Arkansas and has missed three tackles this season.

Overall, Henderson is an undersized rusher who may need to move outside. He projects as a priority free agent with eligibility left to keep growing.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
