Stanford Cardinal NFL Draft Prospects

Stanford closed 2025 at 4-8 (3-5 ACC), a season that ended with a rivalry rout of California to reclaim the Axe but otherwise underscored how far the program has slipped, with the offense ranking outside the national top 100 in scoring for a fifth straight year at just 18.8 points per game.

The offseason belonged to a pair of returning legends. After Frank Reich ran the team as interim head coach in 2025, the school handed the program to alum Tavita Pritchard, a former Cardinal quarterback and Andrew Luck's backup who most recently helped build one of the NFL's most productive attacks as the Washington Commanders' offensive coordinator. Luck, the program's most decorated modern star, now sits atop the operation as general manager. Pritchard brought Terry Heffernan over from Virginia to run the offense and hired longtime NFL assistant Kris Richard, back in the college ranks for the first time since 2009, as defensive coordinator.
