A dynamic high school running back at Fairfax in Virginia, Rojas rushed for 2,239 yards and 35 touchdowns as a senior, earning Gatorade Virginia Player of the Year and an All-American Bowl invite before signing with Penn State as a four-star and a top-110 national recruit.He converted to linebacker and worked into the rotation as a freshman, flashing the range and coverage skills that fit the modern second level. His 2025 season was cut short. Rojas played just four games before a season-ending injury, but he made them count, recording 20 tackles, two sacks and seventeen run stops. He posted nine tackles and seven stops against Florida International and added two sacks against Villanova, leaving a small but disruptive body of work to project from. His straight-line speed and ball-hunting instincts, headlined by a long Playoff interception return the year before, mark him as a third-down cover linebacker.

Rojas is a rare athlete at linebacker, a track-fast cover backer whose coverage is strong and whose burst lets him close in space and carry seams. The 2025 sample is small after a torn pectoral in Week 4, but the flashes were loud: two sacks and four stops against Villanova and a four-stop, six-tackle game against Oregon. His 2024 tape, with three interceptions, adds to the coverage projection. The speed and the cover skills are the calling cards.The questions are availability and the run game. The torn pec cut his year to four games, his run defense lags and marks him more as a cover backer than a downhill force, and his take-on strength is light against power at the point. The tiny body of work makes the projection lean on flashes, and his production has yet to scale across a full healthy season. He is a traits-and-coverage bet with an injury caveat.
Used as a coverage linebacker and sub-package piece, he can win on passing downs with rare speed while he adds the run-game strength to play early downs.
