Draft Profile: Bio
Dealyn Evans totaled 58 tackles, including eight behind the line, plus four sacks during 2023 at Pine Tree High School in Longview, Texas, and was a second-team TSWA Class 5A pick. ESPN slotted him 175th nationally, Under Armour invited him to its all-star event, and he played basketball and competed in track as well.Evans made two appearances during a 2024 redshirt year with the Aggies, and the staff nominated him for its scout team defensive player of the year. He suited up 13 times in 2025, almost entirely as a rotation player, and logged 141 snaps with six hurries.
After leaving College Station in January 2026, Evans signed with Mississippi State within a week. He has been part of the Bulldogs' interior rotation all season, playing 227 snaps and producing 11 pressures. He hit the quarterback twice at LSU, had three hurries at South Carolina and dropped the Texas quarterback for a sack in the 31-3 loss in Austin. He carries more weight than most interior linemen in the class.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Generated 11 pressures on 227 snaps this season
- Sacked the Texas quarterback in the road game on 31 October
- Two quarterback hits against LSU in Baton Rouge
- Heavier frame than most defensive tackles in the class
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Only seven total tackles despite steady playing time
- Missouri held him without a statistic across 18 snaps
- Middling forty time compared with other college interior linemen
- Mostly a rotational player at both Texas A&M and Mississippi State
- Has never started a game at either SEC stop
Scouting Report: Summary
Evans is a big, disruptive interior lineman who has contributed as a pass rusher in Mississippi State's rotation. He has 11 pressures and a sack at Texas this fall. However, he has made only seven tackles, and he has remained a rotation player at both schools. His forty time is ordinary for the position.
Overall, Evans is a heavy, developing tackle with some pass-rush ability. He projects as a priority free agent, with two years of college eligibility left.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
