DeAndre Moore Jr. arrived in Austin as a four-star recruit after finishing at St. John Bosco, where he won a MaxPreps national championship. Following a catchless freshman season spent on special teams, he broke out in 2024 with 39 receptions for 456 yards and seven touchdowns, capped by nine catches for 114 yards in the SEC Championship against Georgia.In 2025 Moore appeared in 11 games and caught 38 passes for 532 yards and four touchdowns, closing his Texas career with 77 receptions for 988 yards and 11 scores across 37 games. Against Arkansas, all three of his catches went for touchdowns, totaling 74 yards, and he hauled in a deep scoring grab against Oklahoma in the Red River game. He also posted five receptions for 75 yards at Georgia and six catches at Mississippi State.
Moore entered the transfer portal after the season and committed to Colorado, where he transferred for 2026 as one of the portal's top-ranked receivers with a single year of eligibility remaining.
