Leonard Floyd: 70 sacks in 10 seasons, Super Bowl LVI winner
Leonard Floyd was born September 8, 1992 in Chauncey, Georgia, played at Dodge County High School in Eastman, and spent three seasons at Georgia before the Chicago Bears took him ninth overall in the 2016 NFL draft. He started the opener as a rookie, recorded two sacks and a safety in a 26-6 win over San Francisco on December 4, 2016, and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team. Madden NFL 17 listed him at 76 for the 2016 season. On November 4, 2018 he returned an interception of Nathan Peterman 19 yards for a touchdown.
Chicago released Floyd on March 17, 2020 and the Los Angeles Rams signed him on April 24. He had 10.5 sacks in 2020, three of them on Russell Wilson in a Week 10 win over Seattle that earned him NFC Defensive Player of the Week, and Madden NFL 21 rated him 77 for that season. He made five tackles and a sack in the Rams' 23-20 win over Cincinnati in Super Bowl LVI on February 13, 2022. Madden NFL 23 put him at 80 for the 2022 season, when he had nine sacks in 17 starts.
Floyd then had 10.5 sacks for Buffalo in 2023, a season Madden NFL 24 listed him at 78 for, followed by 8.5 sacks for San Francisco in 2024 and 15 starts for Atlanta in 2025. Through the 2025 season he had 431 tackles, 70 sacks, two interceptions and two defensive touchdowns.
