Draft Profile: Bio
Rocky Beers had 14 catches, 261 yards and three scores in his senior season at Valor Christian High School in Colorado. His sister, Raegan, is an All-SEC basketball player at Oklahoma.Beers began at Air Force, where he redshirted in 2021 and covered kicks in 2022. He transferred to FIU, making four starts in 2023, but a season-ending injury in the 2024 opener at Indiana cut that year short. At Colorado State in 2025 he caught 31 passes for 388 yards and seven touchdowns.
Beers transferred to Oklahoma for his sixth and final season. He hurdled a defender on a 40-yard touchdown against UTEP, caught six passes for 94 yards at Michigan and had eight catches for 84 yards and a score at Georgia on 26 September. He has 34 catches for 449 yards and four touchdowns in eight games.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Rare straight-line speed for the position, with range up the seam
- Eight catches for 84 yards and a touchdown at Georgia
- Six catches for 94 yards at Michigan showed he can produce against top defenses
- Sure hands, with one drop on 45 targets
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Ball security is a problem, with fumbles against Georgia and Mississippi State
- Struggles as a run blocker, which limits his snaps
- Light frame limits his role as an inline blocker
- Season-ending injury in the 2024 opener at FIU
- Will be an older rookie after six college seasons at four schools
Scouting Report: Summary
Beers is an athletic tight end whose receiving skills have found a home in the Oklahoma offense. He has the speed to stretch the seam, catches the ball cleanly and has produced against top defenses, with big games at Michigan and Georgia. However, he has fumbled twice this season, his blocking needs a lot of work, and his light frame limits him inline. He is also an older prospect with a long injury history and four schools on his record.
Overall, Beers is a move tight end with real receiving skills. He projects as a priority free agent who must clean up his ball security to stick.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
