Draft Profile: Bio
Carter Bradley from Providence High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 3-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Bradley opted to join Toledo.In 2018 as a freshman Bradley saw action in just 3 games for the Rockets as he threw for just 54 yards on 8 attempts with a completion percent of 50 for an average of 6.8 yards per pass, with no TDs, while taking 3 sacks, and QB rating of 71.9.
In 2019 as a sophomore he played in 6 games as he passed for 502 yards on 100 attempts with a completion percent of 46 for an average of 5.0 yards per pass, with just one TD, while also taking 13 sacks, and putting up just QB rating of 56.3.
As a junior in 2020 Bradley played a total of 4 games. He passed for 851 yards on 90 attempts and put up a completion percentage of 61.1 for an average of 9.5 yards per attempt, with 9 TDs, and allowing 6 sacks, with an excellent QB rating on the year of 102.6.

Scouting Report: Strengths
- While he’s not a burner, Bradley has enough athleticism and speed to make plays with his legs when he takes off as a runner.
- Very confident passer and shows good accuracy and feel when in rhythm. Showed better ball placement from past years and throws very catchable passes. Puts too much air in some of his throws and needs to show a lower trajectory on deep throws.
- Mentally, he was able to make checks at the line of scrimmage and manage the run game.
- Ball placement is a strength. Bradley has the natural instincts to make plays when forced to improvise.
- Good zip and ball placement on the quick slant. Good touch down the seam and on post-corner, flag routes to attack the defense vertically and horizontally.
- Physically, he is a natural athlete who plays with the balance and light feet to float in the pocket.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Needs to improve his touch at all levels and know when to gun it and when to take something off his throws. Accuracy is solid, but far from great with streaky ball placement downfield as Bradley tries to thread the needle too much.
- Mechanically, his stride is inconsistent, adding to accuracy issues. His decision making after the snap is shaky.
- Inconsistent downfield passer and puts too much air under his throws.
