South Alabama Jaguars NFL Draft Prospects

South Alabama slipped to 4-8 (3-5 Sun Belt) in 2025, a step back from the 7-6 finish and bowl win that opened Major Applewhite's tenure. The Jaguars overhauled much of the roster this offseason, with the defense in particular gutted by the transfer portal, but the offense returns its starting quarterback and enough skill talent to stay dangerous. This is a pivotal third season for Applewhite, who is 11-14 in Mobile and needs to steer the program back toward the postseason.
