Aydan White from Christ High School was rated a 3-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 3-star grade by 247 Sports. Following high school, White opted to join North Carolina State.In 2020 as a freshman White saw action in 6 games and played a total of 204 snaps at cornerback for the Wolfpack. He recorded just 9 tackles, 2 assists, while adding no stops. In coverage White notched up no pass breakups, one interception, and QB rating when targetted of 60.7.

Scouting Report: Strengths
- Stays low in his backpedal and shows the click-and-close ability to break up plays in front of him. White can move well laterally and shows excellent instincts when looking into the backfield in zone coverage.
- He can flip his hips and run, with good top-end speed and the length to make plays on the ball.
- Flashes good ball skills. He has the fluidity and change-of-direction ability to mirror quicker receivers underneath.
- He’s also very good in zone coverage, showing a great understanding of routes and the ability to close quickly.
- Instinctive, adept at reading routes and anticipating throws, and strong in zone coverage.
- White has to add weight, but will it affect his athleticism? If it doesn’t, White is a No. 1 corner with the ball skills to be a game changer.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Too often gives too much of a cushion while playing off his man, and it becomes especially problematic since he’s not a particularly willing tackler.
- Isn’t great in route recognition when he’s facing the action, is hesitant and susceptible to double moves, and too often gets unnecessarily handsy when playing trail position
- Feet aren’t ideal, as White gets sloppy in his backpedal and can be sluggish when transitioning to close on the ball.
