A four-star and the No. 2 tight end in the 2024 class, Green was the top prospect in Louisiana, playing his senior season at Zachary after First-Team All-State honors at East Feliciana. He caught 53 passes for 960 yards and 12 scores as a senior and held a Division I basketball offer, later spending time with LSU's basketball team.He worked into the LSU offense as a freshman, flashing the size-and-movement blend that made him a recruiting prize. As a sophomore in 2025 he became a featured target, hauling in 33 passes for 433 yards and seven touchdowns across eleven games.
His production peaked late. Green closed the season with a two-touchdown, 80-yard performance against Houston in the bowl game, capping a year in which he led the LSU tight ends in receiving and worked all three levels of the field as a flex weapon.

Green is a basketball-bred mismatch who checked into actual SEC hoops games eighteen months ago, and his sophomore football season ended with a school record for tight end touchdown catches, second-team All-SEC honors and a playoff finish that included two more scores against Houston. The South Carolina tape is the showcase: eight catches, 119 yards, and a defense visibly out of answers for a near-six-foot-seven target running away from its safeties.The file still has a freshman's rough edges. Five drops on fifty-one targets is a real number, and the worst of them arrived together on a blanked night against Alabama, the one elite defense on the schedule. He plays at 240 with barely half a season's worth of true blocking snaps, so the inline half of the position remains theory, and most of his work came detached from the formation where the matchup, not the technique, did the winning.
Not one of those cautions touches the ceiling. Tight ends with this frame, this speed and this production this young carry first-round conversations through every spring they stay healthy, and a full junior season as the centerpiece of a new-look offense should answer the hands and blocking questions one way or the other. He projects as a move-Y matchup weapon a creative coordinator can post up anywhere, with All-Pro upside if the catching mechanics tighten.
