Draft Profile: Bio
During his senior campaign at Northmont Senior High School, Moore hauled in 28 receptions for 440 yards and eight touchdowns while patrolling the secondary with 68 tackles, an interception, and six pass breakups. His junior year brought 85 tackles, four interceptions, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries, including a school-record three picks in a single contest.

247Sports gave Moore a four-star rating and ranked him as the 26th safety nationally, while ESPN and Rivals both pegged him as a three-star prospect; his composite ranking was 498th overall.

At Michigan, Moore earned Defensive Rookie of the Year honors as a freshman with 32 tackles in 11 games. His sophomore breakthrough saw him lead all defensive backs with 71 tackles and a team-high four interceptions, earning All-Big Ten honorable mention. Despite missing three games to injury in 2023, he managed 38 tackles and two interceptions, including a game-sealing pick against Ohio State. He tore his ACL during spring practice in 2024, missing the entire season while serving as a team captain, and opted to return for a fifth season in 2025, though extended rehabilitation kept him out of spring practice.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Good straight-line speed with the range to cover the deep middle
  • Came down with a pick in his brief return to the field
  • Prior all-conference production logged before the knee injuries
  • Diagnoses route concepts with veteran instincts from depth
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Major knee history with multiple surgeries to clear medically
  • Saw only three games in an injury-shortened return
  • Older sixth-year prospect with real availability questions attached
  • Trail-man coverage is below average against quicker targets
  • Recent body of work is far too small to project on
Scouting Report: Summary
Moore is a rare athlete and veteran presence whose evaluation rests on prior all-conference production and a brief 2025 return, a fast deep safety who snared an interception in three games before shutting it down. The timed speed, the veteran instincts, and the pre-injury tape are the projectable strengths, and the experience reading route concepts from depth is real. The range and the prior production are the case for a developmental look.

The medical and the timeline dominate the projection. He carries a major knee history with multiple surgeries to clear, played only three games in an injury-shortened return, and is an older sixth-year prospect with availability questions. His loses the hip pocket against quicker targets against quicker targets, and his recent body of work is far too small to project on. He is a traits-and-experience safety whose durability is the overriding question.

The draw is on the speed, the instincts, and the prior production, a developmental deep safety whose grade rides entirely on the knee checking out. The surgeries, the age, and the tiny recent sample keep the grade low. He grades as a priority-free-agent type whose path runs through deep coverage and special teams, pending a clean medical review on the surgically repaired knee and a healthy training camp showing.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
