Uiagalelei is a power-and-length edge whose pass rush sat at the very top of the position, and the production backed it: fifty-two pressures and six sacks across 726 snaps, with six-pressure games against both Penn State and Washington. He wins with a heavy long-arm and a deep counter bag rather than pure burst, collapsing the pocket from the edge and inside on stunts, and he held up against the run with the frame to set a firm edge.
