Draft Profile: Bio
Justin Greene made 63 tackles, including 9.5 for loss, and four sacks during his junior year at Mountain View in Dacula, Georgia, and he blocked six kicks that season. The four-star prospect also wrestled, took part in the All-American Bowl and committed to Georgia in June 2023, picking the Bulldogs over LSU, Auburn and Alabama.Greene saw the field in a single game in 2024. The 2025 season brought six reserve appearances, with 60 defensive snaps, one solo tackle and three assists, and he hit the quarterback in the SEC Championship Game win over Alabama.
Greene remains a deep reserve on Georgia's defensive front in 2026. He has played 42 snaps in five games, and his only statistic is an assisted tackle against Oklahoma. As a third-year player, he is eligible for the 2027 draft, and he has a heavier build than most edge defenders.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Blocked six kicks during his junior high school season
- Recorded a quarterback hit in the 2025 SEC Championship Game
- Four-star recruit who also competed as a high school wrestler
- Carries more weight than most college edge defenders
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Has played only 42 snaps in five games this season
- Lone statistic this season is an assist against Oklahoma
- Below-average forty time for a player at edge rusher
- Zero career starts through three seasons in Athens
- Very little college tape for scouts to evaluate
Scouting Report: Summary
Greene is a sturdy edge defender who was a productive high school player and a four-star recruit. He also wrestled and recorded a quarterback hit in the 2025 SEC title game. However, he has seen little action in three seasons, with 42 snaps and one assisted tackle this year. He tested as a below-average athlete for the position, and there is little tape to study.
Overall, Greene is a developmental edge defender stuck behind a deep rotation. He projects as a priority free agent in theory but has eligibility to stay in college.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
