Draft Profile: Bio
Ivan Carreon left Odessa High School in Texas as the school's career leader with 192 catches for 3,315 yards and 40 touchdowns. Rated four stars in the 2024 class, he was also an all-district punter, the top defender in his basketball district and a state finalist in the 110-meter hurdles.

Carreon saw action 11 times in his 2024 debut season, with his only start coming in the Armed Forces Bowl against Navy, where he caught seven passes for 72 yards. His 2025 season brought eight appearances and two catches for 35 yards. He tested the portal in January 2026 and visited Texas State, but he withdrew and stayed at Oklahoma.

Carreon had a quiet start to 2026 before breaking out on 31 October against South Carolina. He caught five passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns in the 42-25 loss, scoring both of the Sooners' offensive touchdowns.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Caught five passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns against South Carolina
  • Big target who can win contested catches on the outside
  • Productive high school receiver who set his school's career records
  • Hurdler and basketball player with good body control for his size
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Nearly all of his 2026 production came in one game
  • Average speed that limits his ability to separate deep
  • Managed only two catches in eight games in 2025
  • Almost left Oklahoma through the transfer portal in January
  • Has made only one start in his college career
Scouting Report: Summary
Carreon is a big, athletic receiver who finally showed what he can do against South Carolina. He used his size and body control to catch five passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns, and he has the frame to win on the outside.

However, that game accounts for nearly all of his production this season, and he caught just two passes in 2025. He has one career start, and his speed is no better than average.

Overall, Carreon is a raw prospect with interesting size and a very short track record. He projects as a priority free agent, and another year at Oklahoma would help him.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
