Draft Profile: Bio
Bradyn Joiner from Auburn High School was rated a 3-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 3-star grade by 247 Sports. Following high school, Joiner opted to join Auburn. In 2024 as a freshman Joiner saw action in just 2 games and played a total of 44 snaps for the Tigers. He allowed no QB hurries, no QB hits, and no sacks while playing most of his snaps at left guard.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Joiner has the powerful upper body, strong core and the grip to win at the point of attack. He does a solid job as a hand fighter. He also flashes the agility to get around and land blocks as a puller.
- He flashes power and nastiness in the run game, able to win at the point of attack and athletic enough to get out as a pulling blocker before landing blocks on the move at the second level.
- Has a naturally wide base, thickly build and good length. Long legs to cover a lot of ground with his initial kick slide. Has the quickness to set up quickly with enough lateral shuffle to mirror and mobility to get to the second level.
- Exhibits good patience in pass protection, sitting back in his set rather than leaning and lunging.
- Has broad shoulders and flashes the playing strength and power to overwhelm at the point of attack.
- Has a powerful lower body and enough leg drive to knock defenders back at the point of attack. Joiner flashes light feet as a pass protector, with the ability to mirror against quickness and the anchor strength to hold up against the bull rush.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- As a pass protector, Joiner gets caught reaching and lunging when matched up against quickness.
- Struggles to get low enough to maintain leverage. Won't be able to cut more agile NFL linemen because he's not sudden and gathers before lunging.
- Has fairly heavy feet, struggling to mirror against quicker defenders. Joiner lacks the range to get out as an effective puller, and he can often look stiff when moving out into space and zeroing in on bodies.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
