The son of Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo, a former Bulldog quarterback, Drew grew up around the game and bounced through high schools in Colorado, South Carolina and Alabama as his father coached. A three-star, he flipped from Auburn to sign with Georgia. He developed on the Bulldogs' interior, earning two starts against Auburn and Mississippi State that served as an audition.In 2025 Bobo took more than 370 pass-blocking snaps and 345 in the run game across eleven games, allowing just six pressures and drawing a single penalty while settling in as Georgia's center. A heady, technically sound interior blocker with a coaching bloodline, he profiles as a dependable pivot man with starter reps in the SEC. The two-start audition against Auburn and Mississippi State set up a full-time role, and the football-family upbringing gives him a feel for the game rare in a young center.

Bobo's movement grades support climbs and cutoffs, and the staff's trust never wavered until a foot injury put him in a boot in late November.The questions are concentrated and fair.
