Cyrus Allen came out of Louisiana as a three-star recruit in the 2021 class, ranked the 17th-best player in the state by ESPN. He caught 25 passes for 458 yards and nine touchdowns as a high school sophomore, flashing the kind of big-play ability that would define his college career. He landed at Louisiana Tech, where he wasted no time making an impact as a true freshman in 2022, posting 23 catches for 502 yards and four touchdowns while averaging a staggering 21.8 yards per reception.
