After high school, Jackson opted to join Oklahoma. In 2021 as a freshman Jackson saw action in just 2 games for the Sooners as he made 5 receptions for just 45 yards for an average of 9.0 yards per reception, with no TDs, and QB rating when targeted of 88.4.

Scouting Report: Strengths
- Although Jackson is more of a possession target than a field stretcher, he fiercely competitive demeanor and run-after-catch ability make him a major threat in the middle of the field.
- He’s at his best working in space, showing the quickness and vision of a return specialist. His stop-start ability allows him to create initial separation.
- When used downfield, he shows the ball-tracking skills and hand-eye coordination to make the adjustment on underthrown balls and back-shoulder throws.
- Jackson has quick feet and good body control, allowing him to gear down and quickly get in and out of cuts. His hands are good, and he’s a creative runner after the catch with the elusiveness to slip tackles in space.
- Shows good sense as a route runner and provides an enormous catch radius over the middle of the field. Jackson has soft hands and uses his frame effectively to shield defenders, making him a major threat in the red zone.
- Flashes the foot quickness and toughness to handle slot duties at the next level and lines up all over the field. Dangerous with the ball in his hands.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Jackson isn’t going to make contested catches.
- He also lacks suddenness as a route runner, and that is a potential issue at the next level.
- Jackson lacks the twitch to create consistent separation, and despite his size and ability to track the ball downfield, Jackson isn’t great on contested catches.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
