Draft Profile: Bio
Tomiwa Durojaiye was the 2021 Delaware Class 3A Defensive Player of the Year at Middletown High School, making 25.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks as a senior to help win a state title. He was a two-time first-team all-state pick and the top-rated prospect in Delaware. His father, Bayo, is from Nigeria. His college career has taken him to five schools. He redshirted at Kentucky in 2022, had 3.5 sacks at West Virginia in 2023, played four games at Florida State in 2024 with a sack against Notre Dame, and started eight games at Illinois in 2025, earning honorable mention All-Big Ten.
Durojaiye moved to South Carolina in January 2026 and was named the team's Co-Newcomer of the Spring. He has four sacks this season, coming against Towson, Alabama, Tennessee and Oklahoma, and he had five pressures in the win over Towson.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Sacks against Alabama, Tennessee and Oklahoma show he can finish against SEC lines
- Five pressures in the win over Towson showed his power
- Thick, powerful build that anchors against the run
- Recorded sacks at four different schools since 2023
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Below-average quickness off the ball limits his rush
- Has played for five schools in five years, which teams will ask about
- Kentucky kept him without a pressure over 61 snaps
- Limited tackle production, with 14 solo tackles in eight games
- Older prospect who has played five seasons of college football
Scouting Report: Summary
Durojaiye has finally found a productive home at South Carolina. He uses his power well, holds up against the run and has turned pressure into sacks, finishing against Alabama, Tennessee and Oklahoma. However, his quickness is below average, and his tackle numbers are low for a starter. He has also played at five schools, which teams will want to understand, and Kentucky kept him quiet.
Overall, Durojaiye is a powerful interior rusher with a long track record of making plays. He projects as a priority free agent rotational tackle.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
