Draft Profile: Bio
Markis Deal had seven sacks as a senior at Naaman Forest High School in Garland, Texas, and reached the state final in the shot put with a throw of 56 feet 10 inches. A four-star recruit in the 2023 class, he also played basketball. His older brother, Devean, played linebacker at Tulane and TCU.Deal played in four games as a redshirt in 2023, sacking the quarterback in his first appearance. He made seven starts across 11 games in 2024, recording 21 tackles, 5.5 of them behind the line, though he missed the Baylor and Oklahoma State games injured. He opened all 13 games of 2025 in the lineup and finished with 26 tackles.
Deal has been part of TCU's line rotation in each of its eight games. His lone sack came in the opener against North Carolina, a game that also brought his only penalty. His best game came at Baylor, where he made three tackles and three stops and had three hurries.

Overall, Deal is a solid, durable rotational lineman with limited upside. He projects as a priority free agent and could have one more college season available.
