Jaden Craig was a three-year starter and two-time all-state quarterback at Seton Hall Prep in New Jersey. He grew up in Montclair and went on to Harvard, where he became the most prolific passer in school history.Craig made three starts in 2023 and took over in 2024, throwing for 2,430 yards and 23 touchdowns with three interceptions to earn second-team All-Ivy honors. He set Harvard single-season records in 2025 with 2,869 yards and 25 touchdowns, made first-team All-Ivy and was a Walter Payton Award finalist for the second straight year, leaving with school career records of 6,074 yards and 52 touchdowns.
Craig transferred to TCU as a graduate student in January 2026. He threw for 391 yards and four touchdowns against Grambling, and he passed for 294 yards and two scores in the 17-6 win at Baylor on 17 October.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Productive passer who threw for 391 yards and four touchdowns against Grambling
- Accurate thrower who completes about 65 percent of his passes
- Led a 17-6 win at Baylor with 294 yards and two touchdowns
- Record-setting career at Harvard, with 52 touchdown passes
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Ball security is a major problem, with seven fumbles this season
- Took 22 sacks in eight games, often holding the ball
- Struggled against Kansas, completing 13 of 29 passes
- Six interceptions this season after seven in all of 2025
- Step up in competition has exposed his decisions under pressure
Scouting Report: Summary
Craig is an accurate, experienced passer who has carried his Ivy League production into the Big 12. He completes about 65 percent of his throws, can push the ball downfield and showed his upside with big games against Grambling and at Baylor. However, the jump in competition has been hard. He has fumbled seven times and taken 22 sacks, and his decisions under pressure have led to six interceptions. Kansas held him to 13 completions on 29 attempts.
Overall, Craig is a smart, productive quarterback with a strong track record. He projects as a priority free agent backup who has to protect the ball better.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
