Strengths
- Big, aggressive hitter who can lay the wood. Has good awareness to quickly locate the ball, keeping his eyes up and on point.
- An aggressive run defender, filling run lanes hard, and won't shy from contact. Plays with violence to fight off blocks, flashing a physical nature. An intense, powerful hitter who willingly gives up his body.
- Gives effort between the tackles to find the ball and is willing to take on linemen.
- Brings down quarterbacks much bigger than he is. Very good motor and regularly chases down plays from behind.
- Has good balance and short-area burst to stay on his feet through contact
Weaknesses
- Limited athlete, lacks NFL playing speed and isn't explosive. Consistently a step behind in pursuit.
- Stiff in space with poor lateral agility and range. Not fluid changing direction. Struggles to tackle in the open field and falls off too many tackles going for the TKO.
- Not a sudden or quick-twitch athlete. Will never be the strongest player on the field and can struggle to shed from different angles.
