Chris is the son of Chris Rumph Sr, the outside linebackers coach for the Houston Texans. Rumph has been an impressive presence for the Blue Devils - last season he had 47 total tackles and 6.5 sacks and in 2020 he has 53 tackles and 8 sacks. He is a speedy and versatile player that can fill a number of roles along the line - certainly he can be effective as a pass rusher even if he is lacking ideal physical attributes. Still needs to work on his technique but he is an intriguing prospect that a smart DC can use in a number of different ways.
