Draft Profile: Bio
A Texas native who starred at Lewisville High School, Green emerged as a dynamic dual-threat quarterback after initially committing to Boise State as a three-star recruit. Won Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors in 2022, leading Boise State to a conference championship before transferring to Arkansas for the 2024 season. Set multiple program records at both schools, including becoming the first Arkansas quarterback to throw for five touchdowns and rush for one in a single game since 2010.

Demonstrated significant development as a passer during his college career, completing 57.1% of his passes for 1,752 yards and 11 touchdowns at Boise State in 2023 before transferring to Arkansas. His 2024 season showed marked improvement, highlighted by a 416-yard passing performance against Oklahoma State and a five-touchdown game against Mississippi State. Accumulated over 4,000 career passing yards and added nearly 1,000 rushing yards across three seasons as a starter.

Made an immediate impact after transferring to Arkansas, winning SEC Player of the Week honors and earning spots on the Davey O'Brien Award Great 8 List and Manning Award Star of the Week list. Showcased his dual-threat ability throughout the season, with multiple games featuring both 200+ passing yards and 80+ rushing yards. Demonstrated leadership qualities that quickly earned him respect in the SEC locker room.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Super athletic - Made Bruce Feldman's 2023 Freak's List at #88. He Wrote: "Green threw for more than 2,000 yards, completing 61 percent of his passes, and was responsible for 24 touchdowns (14 passing, 10 rushing). He then went on to earn Frisco Bowl Offensive MVP honors. He’s 6-6, 230 pounds, but can also hit almost 23 MPH on the GPS. In high school, Green was a 43-foot-5-inch triple jumper"
  • Prototypical NFL frame at 6'6" and 230 pounds with natural athleticism that manifests in both pocket mobility and designed run situations
  • Shows advanced field vision when extending plays, consistently keeping eyes downfield and finding secondary receivers while on the move
  • Displays impressive deep ball accuracy with the arm strength to make all NFL throws, particularly excelling on vertical routes outside the numbers
  • Natural runner with decisive cutting ability and power, consistently breaking tackles and generating yards after contact in the open field
  • Quick processor in RPO situations with the ability to make accurate throws on the move and proper run/pass decisions
  • Demonstrated steady improvement in accuracy and decision-making throughout college career, especially after transfer to Arkansas
  • Strong leadership qualities evidenced by quickly winning over Arkansas locker room after transfer and leading multiple comeback victories
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Mechanics can break down under pressure, leading to occasional erratic ball placement and forcing throws into coverage when primary read is covered
  • Needs to improve consistency in short and intermediate passing game, as completion percentage and accuracy fluctuate significantly game-to-game
  • Can be slow working through progressions from the pocket, sometimes missing open receivers while waiting for deep routes to develop
  • Takes unnecessary hits as a runner, needs to develop better situational awareness and sliding technique to preserve long-term durability
  • Still developing touch on timing routes, tends to rely too heavily on arm strength rather than anticipation and ball placement
Scouting Report: Summary
Projects as a high-upside developmental quarterback who could benefit significantly from sitting behind a veteran starter for 1-2 seasons. His combination of elite size, arm talent, and rushing ability provides an intriguing foundation for NFL coaches to build upon. His steady improvement throughout college suggests continued development is likely with proper coaching.

Best suited for a vertical passing offense that incorporates designed quarterback runs and bootleg concepts. His ability to stress defenses both vertically and horizontally could make him particularly effective in a system that emphasizes play-action passing and RPOs. Development of short and intermediate accuracy will be crucial for reaching his ceiling as a pro prospect.

While raw in some aspects, possesses rare physical tools that cannot be taught and showed significant growth in reading defenses during his final college season. Long-term potential could outweigh initial growing pains for teams willing to be patient with his development.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
