Following high school, Scott Jr. opted to join Florida State.In 2020 as a freshman Scott Jr. saw action in 8 games and played a total of 522 snaps for the Seminoles. - Showing some nastiness to his game, Scott will sustain blocks through the whistle, thriving when he’s in the phone booth.
- Fires out of his stance with a good pad level, consistently winning at the point of attack.
- In pass protection, he flashes a strong initial punch and typically has good hand placement.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Needs to prove his worth in a straight-ahead running game.
- While Scott probably fits best as a right tackle, he has an outside chance at surviving on the left side for a team with a power-running attack.
- Has the traits to improve, but he gets impatient in his set, lunging and reaching, and generally playing with poor balance at times. Scott is inconsistent with his kick slide.
