Draft Profile: Bio
A three-year contributor at Georgia, Morris logged 792 snaps across 26 games, primarily at guard. In 2023, he appeared in 13 contests as part of Georgia's formidable offensive front that led the SEC in sacks allowed (0.93 per game) and powered an offense that averaged 496.5 yards and 40.1 points per game. After enrolling early at Georgia in January 2021, Morris saw initial action against Charleston Southern and Georgia Tech. His role expanded in 2022, appearing in seven games as a reserve offensive lineman during the Bulldogs' national championship campaign.
The Camden County High School product arrived in Athens as the program's highest-rated recruit in history. Named to the All-American Bowl and Atlanta Journal-Constitution "Super 11," Morris earned first-team all-state honors in 2019. His senior season featured a dominant ground attack that accumulated 1,170 yards and 13 touchdowns in 11 games.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Heavy hands and solid anchor lead to consistent wins in phone booth matchups; establishes dominant initial position on contact
- Plus core strength and leg drive generate significant vertical push; overwhelms second-level defenders when he squares them up
- Operates with smooth kickslide and balanced base in pass pro; maintains proper knee bend through initial engagement
- Devastating down blocker who creates immediate displacement; excels at washing defenders completely out of gaps
- Snap-quick get-off when pulling around edge; arrives with bad intentions and looks to punish linebackers in space
- Reliable processor against stunts and blitzes; sound awareness to pick up late rushers and handle defensive line movement
- Heavy-handed punch stops defenders' momentum cold; resets anchor quickly when initially moved off spot
- Natural bender who plays with consistent pad level; generates power from ground up through his frame
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Tends to overset against speed rushers, creating inside counter opportunities; needs to trust his kick-slide technique
- Late to recognize and react to defensive line games; can get caught leaning and lose leverage against quick penetrators
- Limited exposure to true pass sets against elite competition raises questions about immediate third down reliability
- Base narrows when redirecting in space; struggles to maintain leverage against shifty defenders in open field
- Forward lean leads to lunging and whiffing against second-level targets who can slip his initial punch
Scouting Report: Summary
Built like a prototypical NFL guard with natural power and mauler mentality in the run game. Shows flashes of dominance when asked to dig out defenders or generate vertical push in confined spaces. Raw tools and physical traits suggest significant upside with technical refinement.Best suited for a gap/power scheme that maximizes his ability to fire off the ball and create displacement at the point of attack. Will need time to develop more consistent pass protection technique and improve recognition against complex pressure packages before handling full-time starting duties.
Day three developmental prospect who brings starter upside if pad level and hand placement inconsistencies can be corrected through NFL coaching. Immediate backup guard with enough tools to push for rotational snaps by year two.<

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
