Drafted: 2021: ROUND: 5 - Pick Number: 147 (HOU)
Jordan is the latest in an array of excellent TEs that have gone into the NFL from Miami. David Njoku, Bubba Franks, Jeremy Shockey, Greg Olsen, and Jimmy Graham being some of the best.
Jordan caught 105 passes for 1,358 yards and 13 touchdowns, really coming on strong as a red zone threat with his seven touchdowns in 2020. A dangerous athlete at 6-foot-3 and 245-pounds, Jordan is a good fit for the modern NFL and could be one of those players who turn into a more useful pro than he was as a college player.
Strengths
- Can seal the edge as an in-line blocker. Not an intimidator but has enough strength, leverage, and a solid base.
- Jordan has the top-end speed and size to stretch the field. He shows good burst and contact balance after the catch. He has the quickness and ability to develop into an above-average route runner.
- Gets a quick release off the line. Dips his shoulder and shows some savvy as a route runner to avoid contact with defenders g to get into his route.
- Catches well in traffic, shields the ball from defenders with his frame, and holds on despite being hit. Will fully extend, snatch, and stay in bounds.
- Knee-bend and technique are good and he shows decent power when his hands hit the target.
- Has smooth body control, reliable hands, and natural ball skills to adjust to off-target throws and make impressive catches.
- He's a nightmare for slower players such as linebackers to cover man-to-man, and he's too big for most cornerbacks to bring down. Jordan has reliable hands and is a very tough matchup to cover overall.
Weaknesses
- As a blocker, he battles but his technique needs work. Jordan is an able receiving tight end who might never develop into a No. 1 but has the tools to quickly develop into an above-average No. 2.
- A glider, moves faster than he appears but lacks the top-end speed to be a real threat down the seam.
Look out for Jordan to go as high as the top-50 come April's draft

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
