Strengths
  • Takes much more pride in the run game, where Ruschmeyer plays through the whistle with tremendous physicality.
  • Displays good awareness when it comes to reading moving bodies, effectively reacting and adjusting. Ruschmeyer also shows a good feel for combo blocks.
  • He has long arms that allow him to survive as a pass protector on the edge, and he typically plays with good balance.
  • Exhibits good patience in pass protection, sitting back in his set rather than leaning and lunging.
  • In the run game, he plays with a mean streak and does a nice job generating a push at the initial point of attack. Ruschmeyer can get outside and does a decent job landing blocks in space.
  • Shows a good feel for combo blocks, and he displays good quickness and flexibility when moving to the second level, capable of sealing the back side on reach blocks
Weaknesses
  • He’s a bit underpowered the more Ruschmeyer has to move in the run game, better in a phone booth than out in space.
  • As an outside chance to stick at left tackle, but he might actually fit better on the right side or kicking in to a guard spot.
  • Has fairly heavy feet, struggling to mirror against quicker defenders. Ruschmeyer lacks the range to get out as an effective puller, and he can often look stiff when moving out into space and zeroing in on bodies.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
