Trikweze Bridges from Lanett High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 3-star grade by 247 Sports. Following high school, Bridges opted to join Oregon after being heavily recruited.In 2021 as a freshman Bridges saw action in 13 games and played a total of 282 snaps at cornerback for the Ducks. He recorded 19 tackles, 8 assists, while adding 6 stops. In coverage Bridges notched up one pass breakup, one interception, and QB rating when targetted of 64.1.

Scouting Report: Strengths
- He’s tall-framed with long arms to match. With his powerful hands, straight-line speed, and fluidity in his hips, turning and chasing downfield shouldn’t be a problem.
- Has excellent ball skills, tracking the ball effectively and instinctively taking the right route to break up the play. Bridges has the strong hands and coordination to come down with interceptions.
- Tracks the ball well downfield and has the innate feel for high-point passes. He’s willing to come up and fill against the run and seems to take pride in delivering violent hits in run support.
- He’s a willing and capable hitter in run support and closes fast to make plays against quick screens.
- Has the recovery speed to make up for mistakes early in the down. He tracks the ball well downfield and has the ball skills and easy leaping ability to high-point the ball and come down with the interception.
- Bridges can flip his hips and run, with good top-end speed and the length to make plays on the ball.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Struggles to break down in space and can be a liability against the run at the second level.
- NFL teams are going to test him deep early on, and he’ll also be prone to flags since he’s grabby downfield.
- Inconsistent getting off of blocks. Can be a step slow to react when a quarterback comes back to his side of the field late in progression.
