Boston College's offensive line featured a captain in 2025 who had already logged four years of starting experience across two programs. Logan Taylor arrived at Virginia as a four-star recruit in 2021 and worked his way into the starting lineup at offensive tackle by his redshirt freshman season, starting all 11 games for the Cavaliers in 2022. He transferred to Boston College ahead of 2023 and stepped in at left tackle, starting all 13 games and earning Honorable Mention All-ACC as the Eagles averaged nearly 199 rushing yards per game.Taylor moved to left guard in 2024 and earned Honorable Mention All-ACC again while starting 10 games at the position, plus one at left tackle in the Pinstripe Bowl.
