Draft Profile: Bio
Chad Lindberg from Clear Creek High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. Following high school, Lindberg opted to join Georgia. In 2021 as a freshman Lindberg saw action in just 2 games and played a total of 16 snaps for the Bulldogs. He allowed no QB hurries, no QB hits, and no sacks while playing sparingly.
As a sophomore in 2022 he played in 5 games and a total of 18 snaps. He conceded no QB hurries, no QB hits, and no sacks while playing sparingly.
In 2023 as a junior Lindberg saw action in 10 games and totaled 83 snaps. He gave up no QB hurries, no QB hits, and no sacks while playing the majority of his snaps at tight tackle, and the rest at right guard.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Lindberg has the size teams look for at the tackle spots, and that is probably enough to get him a look as a swing tackle.
- Long enough to provide some position versatility, potentially capable of holding up at guard or even at right tackle.
- Shows a good feel for combo blocks, and Lindberg displays good quickness and flexibility when moving to the second level, capable of sealing the back side on reach blocks
- In the run game, he plays with a mean streak and does a nice job generating a push at the initial point of attack. He can get outside and does a decent job landing blocks in space.
- Awareness is above-average for his limited experience. Sells trap block and can turn to seal. Fluid getting to and adjust at the second level.
- Uses his hands well, with good hand placement to maximize his powerful punch. Lindberg shows impressive coordination between his upper and lower body when moving in pass protection.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Flashes the ability to move his man with his hands, but is not yet consistent in this area.
- Has a bad habit of panicking on reach blocks, lunging, and grabbing rather than trusting his athleticism to get him in position, which could lead to frequent flags for holding.
- As a pass protector, Lindberg gets caught reaching and lunging when matched up against quickness.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank

For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
